ALICIA HOLLINGER

Alicia Hollinger is a Los Angeles based artist specializing in sexy sci-fi, fantasy and pop culture pinup art as well as children's art. She has shown her art at Petra Gallery in Beverly Hills, trendy Downtown LA Galleries, Meltdown Comics Gallery, Titmouse Studios, Surf Club Gallery in Hollywood, Nucleus Gallery, Pixeldrip Gallery and Comic Book Sunday events in Los Angeles. She has also sold her work at the International San Diego Comic-Con in its prestigious official Art Show and as part of the Girls Drawin’ Girls group booth, Wondercon, Stan Lee’s Comikaze, Long Beach Comic-Con, L.A.’ s Pop-Con, Culver City Comic Bug Comic-Con, Condor-Con, and the L.A. Horror Fest at Raleigh Studios, Hollywood.

Ms. Hollinger was the featured artist in issue #266 (December 2013) of Heavy Metal Magazine with a six page spread and interview and also in a book published by Heavy Metal, along with artists Kevin Eastman, Lorenzo Sperlonga and other renowned artists. She has created three comic book covers for Heroic Publishing (soon to be released) and the cover of a recent issue of Indie Comics Magazine. Her art was also featured in the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con official souvenir book. She has a pinup art book “Alicia’ s PinUps Vol.1 Sampler, Scifi, Fantasy, Girlicious PinUp Art” available on Amazon and in various comic book stores.

Alicia is currently working on the second volume of her pinup art, an all sci-fi themed book entitled “Cheesecake Galactica.” She is also working on a transmedia project entitled “Quantum Party Girls,” based on her experience in the L.A. party scene combined with sci-fi, best described as "TMZ meets Stargate."
